To first look or not to first look, that is the question. What is a first look you ask? It's advisable if your ceremony is later than 3pm, a first look is a good idea. The wedding time line as we have listed, bride getting ready and the groom, stay the same. Then you stick in there a first look. Yep, you will meet up, have a special moment and then off for photos. Once you are done with photos, head to your ceremony. Maybe a few family photos and then to your reception. Chances are, you will be able to enjoy cocktail hour. That's kinda it in a nutshell.
To be honest, we love first looks. Few reasons. First, I know I was brief on the "special moment" but it really is special, you won't get that at your ceremony. Without it, bride walks up the aisle, dad hands you off, and you head to your seats, quietly, no chatting. It tends to take a bit of stress away. Should be plenty of time for photos without rushing, which we love! You'll get to enjoy cocktail hour mingling with friends and family. Best part, grooms still get teary eyed when they see their bride walking up the aisle.
