There are a ton of photos here for you to look at, so we have divided them up into the wedding events of the night. You will definitely get a feel for how the reception flows, and how we as professional wedding photographers capture your wedding reception. You may have different ideas for your reception, we're cool with that.
Usually your wedding reception photos start with your grand entrance. Chances are, your bridal party will try to be cute and funny and of course it makes for some great photos and wedding video. Enjoy your few minutes of entering the reception with applause and loud cheers, you're a rock star! When will this ever happen again in your lifetime?
Next come the toasts. Best-man, maid of honor, Dads. Video the toasts for sure, the creativity and emotion need to be documented for years to come.
Cutting the Cake
Wedding reception, time to cut the cake! Cake, cupcakes, donuts, it's whatever your favorite sweet might be. Here are a few Bakeries that our couples recommended. The Cute Little Cake Shop we were told had the best cupcake wedding cake around, and Luna Bakery Cafe our bride told us moist and delicious, Top Tier cakes stunning design so artistic.
Bride and Grooms First dance
Oh the emotion, you can feel it in the air when the bride and groom start their first dance. Your first dance as husband and wife.
Father-Daughter & Mother-Son Dance
Such a special time of the night. Family and friends reflecting on your childhood, knowing your mom and dad are thinking "where has the time gone", and so excited about your future journey.
Reception party time
Dancing, mingling, let the party begin. Well, the reception party, it's been a fulfilled party all day! Now there's a DJ or band to amplify the night. Need a few recommendations? Not just from us, but our couples as well! TKO Entertainment been working with us for 25 years, true professionals. Troy Entertainment also reliable, professional DJ. Cleveland Keys dueling pianos, talk about a great time, everyone I mean everyone was having a great time!
Traditional bride and groom leaving photo
It's been a tradition to end the wedding reception with a "leaving" photo, which really stands for your new beginning as husband and wife. I was told by a newbie photographer that it was "old school". Yikes, sorry, but I love this photo and the meaning behind it. Once in awhile, our bride and groom are having way too much fun on the dance floor so it may not happen, it's ok, we understand.
